Philadelphia Healthy Food Network

The nodes of the network map represent organizations that work to improve the dietary patterns of individuals in Philadelphia according to the Healthy People 2010 Nutrition and Overweight objectives. These organizations provide nutrition education, increase access to healthy foods, and/or advocate for healthy food policies. The links between nodes are connections between organizations consisting of program collaboration and/or funding. The types of organizations include: academic institutions, health organizations, government organizations, food companies and outlets, agricultural organizations, community-based organizations, and private foundations. These entities contribute to the Healthy People 2010 goals through different methods and have varying degrees of interconnectivity. The organizations and links displayed were identified through web searches and interviews with key informants. Click on a node to go to the organization's website.
